Oil Rig

Head over to the Oil Rig Job marker.

Make your way inside the building until you find the job local. Use your third eye menu and select Start Job.

From here you can recruit other players next to you and change your clothes to work clothes (or change back to civilian clothes). Once you are ready, click Start Job again in the bottom right.

You can have up to 4 people doing the job at once. The more people, the faster you will complete the rig tasks. All workers receive the same amount of money regardless of the party amount.

Upon starting the job, you (or whoever is the leader of the job) will spawn inside of a container handler. There is 3 shipping containers that you must pick up and deposit onto a tugboat.

The 3 containers will be highlighted blue. Drive up to each container, and use your Shift and Left Control keys to lift or lower the grabber. Once you are lined up it will highlight green. Press E to pick up the container.

Drive the handler over to the boat and lined up the container - it will highlight green when you get close enough. Lift or lower the container as needed, then press E to deposit it. Repeat for the remaining 2 containers.

Once all 3 containers are loaded, you will automatically exit the handler. Jump onto the boat and hop in the drivers seat.

Open your map and check further out in the ocean for your assigned oil rig, then drive your boat over.

Look for the blue boat marker at the rig, then drive in and press E to park your boat.

Make your way up the ladders and stairs to the top of the rig. Once at the top, look for the big crane and walk up to the ladder. Press E to enter the crane.

Following the tutorial and key bindings, you'll need to lower the crane and collect all 3 containers from the boat.

Once you see the prompt, press E to pick up the container, then raise the container up and forward to find the drop off position. Press E again to release the container. Repeat for the other 2 containers.

Once all 3 containers have been deposited, press E at the door of each container to open them up. Each container contains a different shipment of items.

You will need to pick up each item from all 3 containers and deposit them in the assigned area. Press E to pick the item up, then look for the highlighted drop off area. Press E to drop the item off, then sign the box to confirm (you can just do a quick line or squiggle). This is where having friends to help pays off!

As you might notice, there is 2 progress bars at the bottom of your screen. One is for emptying the shipping containers and doing welding tasks, the other is for collecting gas.

Walk up to the drill and press E to start drilling. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen. Once you successfully complete the mini game, an animation will start. Once this is complete, you can go ahead and drill again - not this takes a minute or so, so perhaps move onto another task in the meantime.

All of the welding tasks can be seen on your map, however as there is no map image, you will just need to make your way around the rig to look for them. Once you find a task, press E and complete the minigame.

Complete the tasks until you reach 100% (if you choose to complete it fully). Emptying the containers and welding will go towards the Side Quests progress bar, while the drill has its own progress bar.

Please note you do not have to complete both bars to 100% if you don't want to, the payout will just be less.

Once you are ready, make your way back down to the boat.

Jump in your boat and head back to where the End Job marker is. Drive up to the blue boat marker and press E to end working and receive your pay out.
