While inside or outside your house, head over to the area you wish to decorate and press F4 (default keybind). Select Decoration Menu to bring up your Sims inspired housing menu.
Select the icon for the room you wish to view the furniture for, then select the type of furniture you wish to buy in the bottom left using the icons. Pressing F6 at any time will allow you to move around in freemode.
Select the item you wish to buy. This will generate the item in front of you for you to view. You can then use the arrows on the item itself to move it around.
If you need help with the controls, click on the information icon. You can also click the settings icon to make any adjustments to your camera or item movement.
You can select Edit mode or Rotate mode. Move and rotate the furniture you wish to buy until it is in the desired location. Once you are happy, click the Buy button. Don’t worry - you can move the furniture later if you stuff up.
A money icon will appear in the middle of the screen showing that the money has been taken.
To move furniture or store it in your stash, click the stash section in the bottom left hand side of your screen. Click on the furniture item in the menu at the bottom and choose one of the options on the left. You can also move or rotate your furniture from here.
To remove it from your stash, follow the same steps and instead of it saying Place In Stash it will say Remove From Stash.
